We are seeking skilled and experienced individuals to join our team at Battle Creek Timber LLC. As a employee, you will play a crucial role in our logging operations, ensuring efficient and safe transport of timber.
Responsibilities:
– Operate log truck to efficiently transport logs from cutting site to the designated mill.
– Diligently maintain logbook for tracking hours.
– Inspect and maintain equipment to ensure optimal performance.
– Always adhere to safety guidelines and procedures.
– Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
– Report any mechanical issues or safety concerns promptly to the supervisor.
– Maintain a clean and organized work area, contributing to a safe and efficient workspace.
Requirements:
– Two or more years of class A truck driving experience required. (Log truck experience preferred)
– Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot equipment issues.
– Knowledge of forestry regulations and safety standards.
– Physical fitness and ability to work in varying weather conditions and rugged terrains.
– Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team.
– Commitment to safety protocols and attention to detail in all tasks.
– Valid class A driver’s license and clean driving record.
– Must be able to pass a drug test.
