We are seeking a skilled and experienced Logging Operator to join our team at Battle Creek Timber, LLC. As a Logging Operator, you will play a crucial role in our logging operations, ensuring efficient and safe processing of timber.

Responsibilities:
– Operate all logging equipment efficiently and safely.
– Monitor and inspect logs for defects, ensuring only the highest-quality timber is Harvested.
– Collaborate with the logging team to optimize production and meet daily targets.
– Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a secure working environment.
– Conduct routine maintenance on the equipment to ensure its optimal performance.
– Report any mechanical issues or safety concerns promptly to the supervisor.
– Maintain a clean and organized work area, contributing to a safe and efficient workspace.
– The operator will be responsible for greasing their machine daily along with checking fluids and blowing out air filters.

Requirements:
– Previous experience operating a logging operator is essential.
– Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot equipment issues.
– Knowledge of forestry regulations and safety standards.
– Physical fitness and ability to work in varying weather conditions and rugged terrains.
– Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team.
– Commitment to safety protocols and attention to detail in all tasks.
– Valid driver’s license and clean driving record preferred.
– Must be able to pass a drug test.
